Early Intervention
Programme
Early Intervention Program(EIP) is a program to detect signs/symptoms of delayed development and implement steps for children with special needs to begin intervention as early as possible.
Effective EIPs enable children with development delay to achieve or catch up with relevant milestones. At The Milestone Academy, we create dedicated EIPs for each child and facilitate their growth to reach their fullest potential.

School Readiness
Programme
As the name suggests, this is a programme aimed at children who are about to enroll into a school setting. The programme mainly focuses on core skills like communication, literacy, and understanding social cues; milestones which are especially vital for every child to achieve before going to school.

After School Programme
Continuous support for a child with special needs and learning difficulties is crucial when entering a school setting. It is common for a child with special needs to be overwhelmed with the school’s homework, rules and regulations, social settings and communication methods. The goal of the After-school Programme is to improve these skills, which are crucial to cope in school independently.

Small Group Learning
Learning environments with a small therapist-to-child ratio will help a child with special needs and learning difficulties to focus on tasks and follow instructions better. This will also provide opportunities to work in smaller groups before entering into a larger group settings such as schools and gatherings, which can be overwhelming for a special needs’ child.

Consultation & Screening
Discuss with our board-certified Assistant Behaviour Analysts on your child’s current state. A thorough screening session can help identify possible red flags for delayed developments.

Applied Behaviour Analysis
(ABA) Therapy
ABA is backed by the science of learning and behaviour correction. Complex skills are broken down for more effective learning. With the principles of carrot-and-cane, ABA facilitates children with special needs to listen and follow instructions.

1:1 Therapy
Therapies focusing on one child per session provide the best and undivided attention to your child’s learning. 1:1 therapy accelerates a child’s learning process through sufficient repetitions of right behaviour and reinforcements.

Shadow Aide Support
Shadow Aide Support is important for transitioning a child to a bigger environment; kindergarten/therapy centre to typical school settings. Required skills to adapt in such environments can be complex and difficult to execute for a special needs child. Shadow aide support can help a child to break down these complex skills and facilitate adaptation into new settings.
